Why now
Collagen production falls by roughly one per cent a year after 25, and drops sharply after menopause.
This is usually the point where a good skincare routine starts feeling like it is doing less. Nothing has gone wrong with your products. The layer they are working on has not changed much. The layer underneath has.
Creams and serums work at the surface, which is exactly where they are designed to work. Collagen is made further down, in the dermis, and a molecule sitting on top of your skin cannot get there. Light can. That is the only reason a mask exists.
How it works
USB-C, then unplug. The mask is wireless, so nothing ties you to a socket.
Four modes, three intensity levels, and sessions of 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes.
Adjustable straps hold it in place, and it shuts off on its own at the end.
Side by side
Every figure laid out side by side, so you can see exactly what the extra $226 buys you — and what it does not.

Just as advertised, easy to use. However, strong plastic smell during the first uses. I need more time to evaluate the results.

Learn
Four short things worth understanding. None of them are a sales argument.
The wavelengths
Light is measured in nanometres, and the number decides how far into the skin it travels. Red at 660nm and near-infrared at 850nm are long wavelengths that reach the layer where collagen and elastin are made. Blue at 460nm is short and stays near the surface, among the oil and congestion. Firelight carries all three across 272 LEDs.
Frequency
Three to five evenings a week is a reasonable target. More than that is not better, and one long session does not make up for a fortnight of skipping. Sessions run 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes and the mask shuts off by itself, so the routine costs you the length of a phone call.
Honest limits
It works slowly and quietly on the appearance of your skin. It will not tighten loose skin the way a procedure does, it will not remove deep lines, and it is not a treatment for any diagnosed condition. If you want a change by next month, this is not the thing to buy.
In practice
Cleanse, dry your face, wear the mask, then carry on with serums and moisturiser afterwards. Nothing needs to go on your skin underneath it. Most people find it easiest to attach the session to something they already do in the evening rather than treating it as an extra task.
What to expect
Light therapy is slow. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a timeline that does not exist. Here is what the first three months actually look like.
Nothing you can see. This is the part most brands leave out. You are building a habit, not getting a result.
Small things, if anything. Skin that feels a little more even to you. Nothing dramatic, and nothing worth photographing.
If it is going to change how your skin looks, this is where you would notice. Some people never do. We would rather say that now than after you have paid.
FAQ
Months, not weeks. The first six weeks will mostly feel like nothing is happening, because visibly nothing is. Month three is where you would expect to notice something, if you notice anything. Some people do not.
Three wavelengths: 660nm red, 850nm near-infrared and 460nm blue, across 272 LEDs. There are four modes and three intensity levels.
You choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes and the mask shuts off on its own. Three to five evenings a week is a sensible rhythm. Doing more does not speed anything up.
No. It is wireless and USB-C rechargeable, running at 3.2W. You charge the controller, unplug it, and use the mask anywhere.
We sell one product, direct, with no retail markup and no celebrity fee. The specification is printed in full on this page so you can hold it against anything else you are looking at.
Every mask carries a one-year warranty. If it fails inside that year, contact us and we will repair or replace it. US shipping is free and orders leave within 1–2 business days.
